Plantation Acres Improvement District - A Dependent Special District of the City of Plantation

Effective October 1, 2026, the Plantation Acres Improvement District (PAID) operates as a dependent special district of the City of Plantation. PAID continues to exist as the District, with its existing assets, liabilities, financial allocations, contracts, permits, rights, obligations, and legal or administrative proceedings remaining in effect as provided by applicable law and City Ordinance No. 2026-011.

PAID is governed by a Board of Supervisors consisting of the Mayor and members of the City Council serving ex officio. District operations are administered through the City of Plantation, with City departments providing engineering, stormwater operations and maintenance, permitting, financial management, records management, procurement, and other administrative services.

The City's goal is to provide residents, property owners, contractors, and permit applicants with a smooth and orderly transition while minimizing interruptions to stormwater operations, maintenance, permitting, inspections, and ongoing projects.
